The Delta is the largest estuary on the coast of North and South America and the gateway to the ports of Stockton and Sacramento.
Recently, the legislature passed legislation having a significant impact on the Delta. I opposed the water package because it creates a new layer of bureaucrats who will make decisions on water that will impact the communities I represent, without giving us a voice.

2000 Postcards from Residents say NO to Canal Plan
SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Alyson Huber (D-El Dorado Hills) today delivered 2000 postcards to the Governor's office. The postcards are from Delta residents who are opposed to Governor Schwarzenegger's plan to build a peripheral canal.
