Protecting the Delta

"The Delta is the largest estuary on the coast of North and South America and the gateway to the ports of Stockton and Sacramento.

Recently, the legislature passed legislation having a significant impact on the Delta. I opposed the water package because it creates a new layer of bureaucrats who will make decisions on water that will impact the communities I represent, without giving us a voice.

I will continue to do everything possible to make sure the concerns of Delta residents are heard."
